We were kindly received. Our room was fresh and clean, as was the bathroom. Beds were fine. The breakfast more than adequate for us. The dinner we booked was very tasty. Too bad we sometimes had to wait a bit long but in terms of quality worth the wait. Furthermore, the Hotel is centrally located for all kinds of activities. We have cycled around the Biggesee and that was doable.

Booked through promotion of the day, 3 nights 2x with dinner. Rooms are not cleaned in between, no new towels. That was promised, but on Sunday the hotel is not manned by owner and then you will be too late to receive this. We had to ask for extra toilet paper, you don't want to be without it. Cool rooms. Spacious room, but needs some maintenance. Beds are good, but very noisy when turning in bed. Breakfast was more than sufficient, but we also arrived at 8.15, while there was just a large club and it was not convenient that we came then too. Breakfast is between 8 and 10. Food was set menu, soup both days beforehand, first day pork medallion with chips and salad bar, second day turkey breast with potato croquette and salad bar. Restaurant opens at 6pm. Owner does give nice ideas for the area, we brought bikes, but then you have to be really trained for the routes and cycling in that area I would not really recommend because of other traffic. We were in the heatwave, so we did a little bit.

Always friendly staff, clean rooms. I'm already looking forward to Corona when it's over and you can go from the hotel room to the cinema in the house in the evening.

Arrival was good, hostess was enthusiastic. Gave good tips about the area. Dinner was good, breakfast on the other hand too simple and hygienic below par. Rooms well obedient with the train that came regularly, refrigerator stinks. In short, a major update is needed

We were herewith the company for our Christmas party. The beds are great, I slept like a stone. Breakfast is extremely tasty. Balanced and versatile.

Simple but good family hotel. Good breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff.

Pros: Located in a nice area, food in their restaurant was very tasty. Room was typically German but sufficiently spacious. The reception by the lady of the house was very amusing (she has humor) and is happy to give information about the area (whether or not to follow, skip the pyramids :-)) and also speaks fluent English if your German is not too is best. You can park there (if the Dutch leave at least some space) No disturbance from noise, despite being located next to the road. It was very quiet. Sauna unfortunately did not work, but that could have been a plus. Points for improvement: cleaning! Cobwebs and a thick layer of dust on windowsills in the restaurant, heating in the bathroom ... chips from the day before on carpet in the restaurant ... that shouldn't be allowed. Decor is typical German cacophony but dated, could be freshened up a bit. Breakfast was fresh and basic, we missed some savory such as simple chocolate spread. When my hubby provided breakfast for 1 day, this was enormous chaos and we did not get a clean table. He is not the friendliest (but since he was on his own and also had to do the check-out, we forgive him) and a bit domineering. He stays better in the kitchen ;-). All in all, you can not struggle for the price, it is in proportion. And after all, you go for the environment

Well cared for within what you can expect from an offer. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. 3 course menu top. There is a main road in front and a train tracks where trains stop and depart regularly. Parking lot sometimes overcrowded, but little convenient parking and everyone can use it.

We have been here mid-June 2019, what a wonderful place! The hotel was neat and clean, our room was spacious and refreshed regularly, the food was very tasty. The owner was more than willing to give us information about the area, it is beautiful walking. Lennestadt itself is a pleasant town, you don't have to leave for a drink or an ice cream. At our departure we were left with an empty battery, the owner of the hotel helped us on our way in an extremely friendly way. In short: in our opinion a must!

The food and service in the restaurant is great too, they had some very special dishes: one of them being one of the best dishes me and my girlfriend had ever tasted (The turkey filet with grilled tomato and cheese). Sadly there are a couple of downsides to the hotel. Except for the receptionist, no one speaks english even though lots of foreign people (mostly dutch) come to visit. This makes for some awkward interactions every now and then. Then, when you have a relevant question that you can only ask the receptionist, you will often find her talking on the phone, with her being the only receptionist there. The phone calls can take quite some time as well. We personally didn't have a problem with it but the animals and trains can be loud so if you dislike the occasional dog barking or scratching or trains passing I wouldn't recommend this place. The last problem we had was our matrass falling through the bottom of our bed and the bed being quite noisy, but this was nicely fixed the next morning, except for the noisiness but we didn't complain about it. Overall I would recommend this place to animal lovers, sightseers and cyclists or hikers because the receptionist knows about great hiking or cycling routes and will recommend places to visit but the hotel is located next to a railway and has pretty old (but nicely sanitised daily) interior and few people that speak english.

In short, you will never have to book again via Campaign of the day because this is too bad for words.

4 star hotel is a joke. Pension is more of the right name. The hotel has had its best days. The hotel is located directly on the federal road and the tracks. Room was reasonably clean and breakfast was ok.

Nice and comfortable place to stay for holiday or business trips. The rooms are clean and spacious. The furniture is in a good condition, though a few years old. They offer a good and solid breakfast.
